In Hawaiian language, Koa means brave, bold, fearless, warrior, and is symbolic of courage and strength. It was used for canoes, surfboards and body boards by Ancient Hawaiians.  Koa trees are protected, and BEAN & VANILLA wood is only harvested by licensed entities.
